I have cleared SCJP 1.5 with 100%.....the exam was quite difficult...there were many drag and drop questions which mainly tested your programming capability....I have read recent posts on 'Drag and Drop'..At my center, the faulty clearly explained about the functioning of the Drag and Drop questions...These Questions Cannot Be Revised...once you click on 'Done' then you cannot again revise the questions..if you do then the answers locked by you will be erased, so you have you attempt those very carefully. Almost all the topics were covered from primitive data types to generics, assertions, enums etc.
I suppose we cannot disclose the questions asked in the exam....
The books I referred was mainly ,Khalid Mughal SCJP Certification. In K&B SCJP, I have not read anything new but yes the language and questions of the book made some topics easier to grasp. I think students should first read the book Khalid Mughal and then go for K&B for the certification questions. In K&B the questions are trickier and very good.
Just explore all the possibilities in each and every topic of Java.

Best of Luck To All.

Thank you dear friends,
when I was studying java in college, I was preparing for certification since that time....when my classes were going on I completed Kathy Sierra and Kahlid Mughal so it took me nearly 20 days only for revising all the topics again from the root and doing all the tricky part of the topics....I don't have any knowledge about the sufficient score needed but what I say is, if you wanna make your future in java then work hard and be the best man, irrespective of other's score.

Best of Luck.
