Need Information for my SCWCD preparation.

I am planning to go for SCWCD.
i was going through many topics and found JFSJ book is really good for the exam.

My question is i am new for servlets and jsp, should i start directly with JFSJ or should i read any other book for gaining the concepts?
regarding JFSJ book , what version should i go for?

And also i came across these things and where can i get them.
JSTL specs for core tags
JSP & Servlets specs in case of queries

please provide your response to my queries, really valuable for me.

Go for second edition of Head First Servlet & JSP(HFSJ).
I think that book is enough for preparation(I am also preparing from it) after preparation you can buy any mock exam for practice or many free mocks available on internet.

I am sure you won't regret studing HFSJ, even if you don't know anything about web development, the book starts from the very basic of http, don't worry!!
