Any update regarding SCJP 1.7 ?.Seems they already released Java 1.7.

It is a long way away. The folks here at the ranch are usually notified of any upcoming exams and related Betas.

No, Java 7 has not been released yet. At JavaOne just a few weeks ago, it was announced that there will be a number of milestone pre-releases of it this year and a release candidate in February 2010. The final version of Sun Java 7 will not be released before March 2010. After that, it will most likely take months or even a year before SCJP 7 will be out.

So at the moment there is no reason at all to wait for SCJP 7.

There is always a LONG lag between a full release and a certification exam.
