Hello people...

I am planning to answer SCJP soon but I'm a bit confused whether I should take SCJP 5.0 or SCJP 6.0
Java 1.6 was released quite some time back and it makes more sense to answer SCJP 6.0.

I've seen that there are some changes in the syllabus of 5.0 and 6.0. What I want to know is whether SCJP 6.0 is much more tougher than SCJP 5.0 ??

I was thinking of preparing from Head First Java 2nd edition (which is up to date till Java 5.0.) and then doing SCJP 6.0 book by K&B..
Now Head First Java 2nd edition which is supposed to be the 'fundamentals teaching' book doesnt include Java 6.0..(probably the next edition will have Java 6.0)
So is it ok if I prepare from HF 2nd edition(which is for 5.0) and then SCJP 6.0 by K&B for SCJP 6.0 ?? Will I be able to do well by following this strategy ?
Or should I prepare for SCJP 5.0 instead ?

Please advise

So I guess doing HF Java and then SCJP 6.0 should suffice....I will have to learn those few extra classes I guess..

Navigableset and navigablemap are new to SCJP 6. You also wont find System.gc()
