Axis2 Unable to parse wsdl

Hi,
I am just getting started on WebServices...I have a wsdl that works perfectly with Axis, I am able to generated the client code and access the service. I am trying to upgrade to Axis2, however when I use the Axis2's WSDL2Java converter its erroring out.

My question is, Is the WSDL dependent on the Axis frame work? Isn't Axis2 backward compatible with Axis?

What type of error does the WSDL2Java converter give?
