Need a little help with EJB, jBoss and Hibernate

Hello,

I've got this exception:


I dont really understand this, do i really need hibernate to do queries?

My persistence.xml looks like this:


How can i get this to work, i have set up a database in apache derby, have some EJB classes, now i want to query...

Thanks for the help.

JBoss by default use Hibernate as its Entity manager provider. So you shouldn't have to add any Hibernate jars to your application. JBoss already ships with the relevant jars. Can you post the relevant code and the entire exception stacktrace? Which version of JBoss and Java do you use?
