That it was discussed http://slashdot.org, which used to be one of top sites traffic-wise, however digg is probably more visited than slashdot these days.

Slashdotted means that an article on Slashdot led so many people to your site that it crashed or at least couldn't handle the load.

Not sure what the comparison with Digg is supposed to signify, since Digg has neither discussions nor original content (and, I'm certain, sends far less traffic to a web site than Slashdot does).
