Hi Friends,

I prepared a script for start/stop in Windows. But i need to prepare it for Linux variant. Can you please help to change it?

Thanks in advance,

You just change the executable path and extension.
Check where your tomcat is installed on unix/ linux (/etc/bin/.... for example) and under the bin file of tomcat there are two files:
startup.sh
and shutdown.sh

call these files and they will do the job for you.

If are going to stop/start the tomcat server in linux....

1) first download the linux tomcat version.
2) unzip it.
3) go to the tomcat bin folder.
4) Run the startup.sh for start the tomcat server
5) Shutdown.sh for using to stop the tomcat

if required to set the enviroment variable,Check this link,
