Hi everyone,
I'm a very new to log4j. This is an simple overview of my application: Client send a request to my server, ask for deploying a web application in Tomcat. (the data need for this application to run coming from the client) . So I need to get Tomcat logs while deploying this application and send it back to my client. Can log4j do this! If it can, would you please give me some steps to do this?

Many thanks!

Sorry for my mistake. I also have another question.
Can we append logs to a file using FileAppender dynamically. I mean that we can change the log file while tomcat is running.

Thanks for any help.
Best Regards!

Can we configure log4j.properties so that RollingFileAppender will overwrite old contents. I mean it don't append to the log file.

Thanks for helping me any questions above.
Best Regards!
