doubts wid SCJP vouchers

am plannin to give SCJP in a couple of months.
I presently stay in INdia ..but will be leavin to the USA by the month end.
Is it possible for me to get the voucher from here and appear for the exam at the USA.?
or shoud i get the voucher ther to appear for the exam ther?

As a side note, you don't need to use a voucher for the exam. Instead of that, you can directly pay to the prometric test centre.

yea... vouchers in india are half the price,, if this wrks out...  wud save some bucks..

Each voucher is valid for one exam and may only be used at an Authorized Prometric Testing Center in the country for which it was purchased.
