I am looking for good external IPOD speaker. My choice is between Bose sounddock and Klipsch IGroove.
Bose Sounddock produces good quality sound but it is very very costly. IGroove is much cheaper than that but not sure whether it can produce same quality sound as in bose soundock.
What would you suggest ? [ April 01, 2008: Message edited by: Chandra Sekar ]
SCJP 1.4, SCWCD - Preparing
A pessimist sees difficulty in every oppurtunity, An optimist sees oppurtunity in every difficulty.
In general, BOSE has a reputation of using excessive equalization to goose up the sound for folks listening casually. They do not have a reputation of accurate and quality sound reproduction.
But you may like what it sounds like. Its your money, get what you like.

Well tradionally Klipsch would always have a fuller base, BOSE perks things up somewhat for good reason but I find that with a hearing loss not unlike that of Tom Ridge that the BOSE always is the preferred sound for most routine listening where one would want to actually hear what was being provided.
Klipsch Horns were for the the WOW effect, such as the Palladium Family pushed by a few kilowatts of clean power driven by a Burr-Brown OPA604
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
