Just to get you started... there's lots more out there....
The manifesto: http://agilemanifesto.org/
There's an explanation of the manifesto from Phran Ryder that is somewhat helpful: http://www.phran.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=21&Itemid=37
This set of blog entries talks about some of the different approaches that fall under the agile umbrella: http://agileintro.wordpress.com/2008/01/07/agile-introduction-for-dummies-%E2%80%93-part-i/
The main thing to understand is that the term "agile" is itself not very meaningful. In other words, there are many different people who use the term "agile" to mean many different things. This is one of the key comments made by Jack Ganssle, in an interview that I did with him earlier this year: http://blog.smartbear.com/the_smartbear_blog/2009/04/a-conversation-with-jack-ganssle.html

Gregg

There are a lot of resources at the Agile Alliance's website: http://www.agilealliance.org/articles

The soul is dyed the color of its thoughts. Think only on those things that are in line with your principles and can bear the light of day. The content of your character is your choice. Day by day, what you do is who you become. Your integrity is your destiny - it is the light that guides your way. - Heraclitus
