Hi Gail and Paul,

There are many RIA available in market , perhaps each has some advantage to it , (open-source, portable) , is this JavaFX is going to stay and stable for some years to come ?any imminent technology which we see can engulf JavaFX soon ? whats your view on this ?

Hi Balu-

I addressed some of the market/technology issues with JavaFX here.
JavaFX Buzz.

In terms of stability, there were changes required to source code between 1.1 and 1.2. I'm thinking that future releases will have minimal changes--and mostly added functionality.

Bottom line, it's not going away (in my opinion).

That's pretty optimistic view indeed. Thanks.
