Hi All,

Passed SCJP 6 with 88%.
Not a great score, but considering the effort I put I am pretty happy with it.
I had given only 2 mocks 1 Devaka's Diagonistic and the other Master Exam from Learn key.
Thanks to all the ranchers for helping me, with clearing my doubts and also creating new ones......
A great place for java guys.....this place rocks.

Thanks to Kathy and Bert for their excellent book(in fact all of their books.......they are all great, especially the Design Patterns)

A month or half a year. It depends on your intelligence and memorizing abilities

Actually I studied it that way......applying the things in my work too......
The preparation for certification has really helped me in my work more than passing the exam.
Next, would be to apply the best practices, patterns, etc in my work

Glad to know that ExamLab helped for you.

You have a great software out there.......and giving it free, is just the most amazing thing anyone would do nowadays.
You are a great man.........I really admire you for the work you are doing........

The K&B book and mocks are more than enough for the exam. Go through the book, write a lot of programs and test it yourself, that helps in remembering small things and then go for the mocks. Ask your doubts in the forum, and if you know the answer, try to solve others. Then just go for it......
Remember, preparation for certification is more than important than getting the certificate itself..........my view though.......
Take a look at the FAQ, they have all the information you need. All the links you need are at the top of the screen on the SCJP forum.
All the best for your preparation and exam as well.......

Special thanks to you Ankit, you are really active and were of great help............especially when I was very low on confidence once.
If you remember, you asked me to call isReadyState()......I just couldn't call it till the end.
The expiry date forced me to give the exam on the last date....
I had given only 2 mocks about 4 days before the exam........and didn't get much time to test myself.
The mocks told me that I was weak in the API, concurrency and Generics.
And I was really tensed before the exam, even thinking about what to do if I fail. After the exam, I was pretty happy with the result.
Got 100% in concurrency, API and 90% in Generics. Got 8 questions wrong in total and weak scores were in fundamentals and basics.
So maybe I made silly mistakes......... . 3 and half hours on a chair is a tough job.......haven't done it for years now....

Thanks again..........
