Hi Everybody,

I have an JSP page, which is taking more than 5 mints to complete the process, so before process complete the weblogic servers resends the same request.
So, I am not able to complete the process. Any ideas why it is like that?

Suggestions appreciated.

I dont understand what do you mean by "server resends the same request". How can a server send a request?
Please provide some details.

HI Amit,

From JSP when we call java method, it is taking executiong time more than 5 mints.
after 5 mints, JSP page is called by the system means again it is calling the java method.
suppose if method execution time is less than 5 mints it working fine , system is not sending and request again.

I am using weblogic 9.2.3 server and jsp and struts

HI amit ,

iam explain the issue with more info

i have a simple struts ActionForm with a FormFile on it. When i submit
a small file to process (about 5 records = 3 seconds) everything works
fine. But when I submit a large file for processing it takes about 4-5
minutes to process. At the end of processing, it reprocesses the file,
almost as if the request had been resubmitted.

is there some sort of timeout or configuration in weblogic 9.2 server that i'm not aware of that resubmits a
request that appears to take too long to process?

in addition, the resubmitted file also takes 4-5 minutes to process
and so it gets resubmitted, and so on, and so on, in an infinite loop

I agree. Here's the link:
