enum clarification

can anyone tell me why "inside enum" is printed thrice ?

enum CoffeeSize {
	BIG, HUGE, OVERWHELMING;
	CoffeeSize() {
		System.out.println("inside enum");
	}
}
class Test {
	public static void main(String[] args) {
		CoffeeSize cs = CoffeeSize.BIG;		
	}
}

There are three enum constants (BIG, HUGE, OVERWHELMING). For each of those, an instance of the enum is made and the constructor is called.
