Why SimpleTagSupport has getJSPContext()?

Hi,
I'm wondering why JSP2.0 spec developers created getJSPContext() method in javax.servlet.jsp.tagext.SimpleTagSupport, if we get JSPContext from getJSPBody().getJSPContext() on the same class? I know "they didn't ask us before writing specs", but I can't possibly satisfy with this answer everytime!

Appreciate your comments.

Cheers,
Naren
