Nobody likes the new Tata cheap car? or is it still in the "be finished RSN" mode?
Since Jaguar and Land Rover are now owned by Tata as well, are they going to become popular?

I would prefer a bike over a car in Bangalore if its just for 2 people.
Negotiating the traffic is much easier on a bike . Off late with the metro rail work under progress , traffic has become extremely chaotic and jams are a commonplace . And getting stuck amidst a traffic jam in a car like a Skoda or a Honda City would be a very painful, frustrating experience. Cars in Bangalore,i believe, are only for the status conscious !

I think it will be better than being on a bike in all this pollution, chaos and sometime in the hot sun. One can pull up the windows, put the a/c, good music and enjoi!

Not really, I would not think of travelling long distances on bike, especially in tough weather conditions. I prefer taking 20 minutes more in comfort than to get to some place early and worn out.
