Large result set weblogic 9 - Break down server

I have 5 WebLogic servers in clusters but we are in throble because when a user makes a big search with stream data (excels reports, for example) the server break down or stop to attend other users.
I'd like to change the parameter Stream Chunk Size to 1024 or 2048 but I'm not sure about behavior of it.
Anybody has this kind of problems with big result set and weblogic?
How to fix it?How to configure it?

When a user get a big excel report with 40-60 MB. WebLogic stops to attend all user to forward all efforts for this user.
When this not happen, it break down and we need restart it.

But that is not a log / stacktrace

Well if you are using something like POI this is a known problem. We had one such app where huge amounts of data were streamed to the user and at some point it would explode. So these downloads were made using .txt files instead. For example when records <2k make an excel export else make a txt export. Something like that.

However, is the problem because of a huge download, or a framework like POI, or because of weblogic itself ? Have you figured that out yet ?
