Hi All,

We have web application hosted on Tomcat 4.0.

When i m trying to click on the hyperlink given on the pag it should dsiplay me a jsp page.

But instaed it is showing me a directory listing!!!

What can be the problem?

Is it related with any .jar files?

Thanks in Advance!!!
Pratham.

There is a Tomcat setting that controls directory listing displays - see the web.xml file in the tomcat\conf directory for the default servlet.

If the "listings" parameter is "true" or is not specified, Tomcat will show the directory for any request that cant be mapped to a "welcome" file such as index.html or index.jsp. See the welcome-file-list area of web.xml.

Respected sir,

The situation is like this..

I loged into the application. I got search screen. When i enter a search criteria,i get a list of result. Then each result has link called modify.

When i click on modify link i should a jsp.

But instead i m getting directory listing.

It is redirecting me to the directory listing ..instead of servlet.

:-(

Perhaps that link is ill-formed and Tomcat does the default behavior.

If this was my problem I would be using the browser "view source" to see exactly what the HTML link contains.
