We have a requirement to convert existing pdf form to JPG, I searched on net and found that JPedal is good at doing this conversion.
Instead of using file upload option which user can use to upload the pdf and invoke the servlet which will do the conversion from pdf to jpg, is it possible to embed a submit button in the pdf form which when clicked sends the entire pdf file to the servlet program which will do the conversion of PDF to JPG and return the url to the converted jpg.
I read on Adobe site that its possible to embed the submit button (using Adobe pro 8 or higher ) which will invoke the servlet. Has any one tried this approach ?
What are the limitations or constraints involved ? Has any one used Adobe livecycle ?
