Can we use HTC magic/HTC hero as android developer phone ?

Since HTC magic is an Android phone, you should be able to test on it, but development (ie write/compile/debug) belongs on a more powerful machine, presumably running the Eclipse developer's package or NetBeans.

HTC hero is also an android phone. I'm getting one too since it's time for me to change phone

Once I get my hands on one sometime this month I sure develop some apps for my phone.
