what are the methods for ranking IT services companies?
i actually don't need the names of any companies.
i am asking like CMMI,Coding standerds.........................and so on

It's the same algorithm for ranking a potential spouse. If you ask people they'll give you the usual answers--smart, attractive, fun, kind, good values or pays well, enjoyable environment, appreciate your efforts, good opportunities, fun projects. And while we all agree that models are attractive and Google stock options were great compensation in 2005, "good values" and "enjoyable environment" are very subjective. This is good news because if we all wanted the same spouse or same job, most people would wind up disappointed.

Mark always has good analogy A very good skill to have.


I have also noticed that within a same company, some departments are run better than the others. Even the team culture varies. All depends on your manager/team lead etc.

It's combination of company culture and Manager.
