PASSED THE SCJA WITH 96%. Here is the section Analysis of my exam:
Fundamental Object-Oriented Concepts...............................87%
UML Representation of Object-Oriented Concepts................100%
Java implementation of Object-Oriented Concepts.................87%
Algorithm Design and Implementation................................100%
Java Development Fundamentals.......................................100%
Java Platform and Integration Technologies.........................100%
Client Technologies...........................................................100%
Server Technologies.........................................................100%
The exam covers broad topics but with adequate practice and preparation you shoul be fine. I have special thanks to Cameron Mckenzie for his book (SCJA Sun Certified Java Associate Study Guide for Test CX-310-019, 2nd Edition) on the certification exam. . If you can you should get this book because it helps a whole lot and it played a major part in my success. You should also take practice exams so you can discover your weak areas and work on them. Really with just the book and practice exams you should be fine.
Now am off to prepare for the SCJP exam wish me luck. And tips if any, would be greatly appreciated.
