Hi

I got this error when starting Tomcat

C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\apache-tomcat-6.0.14\bin>startup.bat
Files\Java\jdk1.6.0 was unexpected at this time.

help Please

I dont see any occurance of that message in my copy of Tomcat 6.0.14 startup.bat or catalina.bat files - have you edited any of these files?

Have you set the environment variables for JAVA_HOME and CATALINA_HOME correctly?

Dear Bala,

Quote the paths in CATALINA_HOME etc. Windows cannot deal with the spaces in there.
