Vishal, are the notes actually larger (in physical size) as the denominations grow or is that just the picture?

I wouldn't wonder if Pakistani Rupees are printed in Germany. I can see some features that were used on former German Deutsche Mark notes. The same is valid for the Iranian notes.

There are so many counterfeit Indian currency notes. RBI is taking back old 500 rupees notes.

Interesting to see the examples, in the US we use boring bills. All the same color, all the same size. Its pretty lame, but its tradition. I have no idea what folks who are blind do to tell them apart.

I believe the blind need to get a trusted friend to help sort them -- And then, they have to "fold" them differently. My grandfather (based in Hong Kong) was blind, and I was amazed that having different sized bills helped. To me, the different size bills was annoying because you need a wallet to hold the largest size. I havd never found a wallet outside the US that I liked -- because they were all too big. Henry

To me the interesting thing with the notes is, that each country put its most honorables heads or buildings on their notes. It's like a tourist guide
