How Open Source ESB/Web Service Mediation products(Mule) different from MOM(Message Oriented Middleware) and EAI(Enterprise Application Integration) ? Looks both are connecting/integrating legacy systems with Web applications.

Any update ? Whether MOM and EAI are same ? If not, Tibco EMS and IBM MqSeries Workflow belongs to MOM (or) EAI ?

Well thats a pretty general question but I will take a stab at parts of it.

MOM - Message Oriented Middleware is the oldest and most basic concept. It simply envisions coordination between applications/corporate entites/whatever as being handled by passing message indirectly through a "middleware" server capable of store and forward and publsh/subscribe message distribution.

A number of vendors have been doing MOM for quite some time, IBM for example. The Java Message Service API and implementation have been around also.

To quote Wikipedia:
Enterprise Application Integration is an integration framework composed of a collection of technologies and services which form a middleware to enable integration of systems and applications across the enterprise.

So - EAI could build on top of MOM with a more formal framework or it could build on any other communication protocol.

In my humble opinion, the same concepts keep getting repackaged by the marketing department again and again.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
