Hi All,

For the past 2 days in my office we couldn't access google. Where as we are able to browse all other domains. I checked with network administrator to look at the router settings. And he replied a nil changes in the settings for the past 2 days. We checked with our ISP(Internet service provider) which went in vein too.

Its a battle without sword for a developer without google. Or as I was used to be with google, I feel so? What do you guys think on this.

Hi,

I have one more String Java ranch. Live and Yahoo are blocked too in our office. Google is the powerful string in my bow.

Google is very handy. I use it at least 10 times a day.

The true test of a man is when he has to battle without his sword. A sword will only lead to chaos and bloodshed. You need to go inwards and find that inner wisdom that will allow you to out think and outmaneuver your foe so that his sword, should he use one, be rendered useless.

Ahem... ahem... Thank you soooooooooo much for associating me with such a big personality. Actually, we both used to study in same school, play in the same ground, guess we even used to code on same machine, one day when it came to go to S.Africa, we booked the tickets on same flight, but I missed it.
He became Mahatma and I still code.

No Gandhi would've never used technology created by the imperial West, instead i imagine he would use one of those knowledge scrolls to search for information about the latest in home yarn spinning.

I, being an old schooler survived without google and the internet. I was also able to adapt, improvise and overcome technologies developed by the imperial far east - China and Japan. My guess is Gandi would be saying something like "be careful what you wish for" right now, and "this is just an obstacle to nirvana."

Obviously, someone is missing contingency...

Gandhi should have used Google if he is a java developer. MSN if he is a .net developer.

Do you think if Gandhi was still alive he would've ever visited the Gandy Dancer restaurant?

I need to add Gandy Dancer means railroad worker
