Javamail question

Hi

I have a java client and at end of each task or run with my client i would like an email notification be sent to the user's email address.
Am not explicitly setting any port number in my code, it defaults to 25.

My office admin says port 25 will remain closed to block some virus.

What is the workaround for this issue, is there a way to change and set port number to a generic value that will always be open.

Please advice.

Well, obviously you need to set the port to whatever port the server is listening to...

Have you checked out Aspose?
