Hello every one,

I want to use xdoclet in my project to generate mapping, configuration and database tables using xdoclet.

Please give me some good tutorial links which includes from scratch explanation using eclipse.

I googled a lot but did not found any proper tutorials.

Thanks in advance
Bhavesh Shah.

Why do you want to use XDoclet? Would it not be easier to use the standard annotations?

Thanks paul,

Actually,

Up to today I was just familiar with xdoclet.

But Now I am clear about difference and advantages of xdoclet and annotation.

I am impressed by the advantage of annotation like it provides reflection, compiler check while coding.

And Now decided to go for annotations.

Please let me know if any best source of tutorial with reference to eclipse

thanks.

I found lot of disadvantages of annotations also:

http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/library/j-cwt08025.html

So Now I am confused,

Rather stick with hibernate configuration files or should move to annotations.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
