Is there a discount for university students or higher learning for the SCJA exam?

Thanks?

Google around. Sometimes you see some SCJA Exam vouchers being discounted.

Yes, there is. Sun has a special "SUN ACADEMIC INITIATIVE" program where Universities affiliated with Sun through this program can receive discount vouchers on Sun exams.

I dont have a list of universities affiliated with this program.

The SCJA exam taken using this discount voucher starts with "210" instead of "310". There is no difference in exam topics. "210" is just representation of fact that exam is being taken through"SUN ACADEMIC INITIATIVE" program.

You have to pay only 40$ (in US) to purchase the exam!!!

Search for "SUN ACADEMIC INITIATIVE" in Google.

Thanks
Chintan.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
