Hi,
I have an application deployed in Weblogic (via the EAR file - EJBs, WARs, MDBs and our own libs including persistance) and this has been working in production for serveral months. Now I want to expose a REST interface on top of this application but do not want to touch the main application. Is it possible for me to create a brand new application relying on the lib files from the application 1? In other words, I want to create some
servlets (REST based) that can make use of the persistence classes from the lib files from application 1? Is this possible or am I violating any prescriptive guidance by having these dependencies. Would appreciate any thoughts/advice.
Thanks.
