Hi Ranchers

I am very happy to let you all that I cleared the assignment/essay exam for Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2EE 5.

They posted the Grade as "P" and score as "0" in certmanager databse. Upon contacting Sun, I received the following email. I could also see that Sun marked the SCEA Essay exam as "Manually Certified" at https://i7lp.integral7.com/. So far, I dont know what my score is since it is displayed as "0". I hope they "may" post it at a later time (please correct me if I am wrong, I have seen that many have posted their scores in the forum)

Again, thanks a lot Ranchers, I could gather many useful discussions regarding the exam which helped me a lot in achieving my objective.

Hello Unnikrishnan,

Thank you for contacting Sun Certification Customer Support. We are happy to assist you.

We apologize for the delay in the posting of your exam results. We have verified your exam results from the Assignment Watcher database and processed your certification as a Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for the Java Platform, EE 5 in the Sun CertManager Database at http://www.certmanager.net/sun.

Your Sun certification welcome package is being processed. Please allow up to four weeks for delivery.

There is a technical issue in Prometric’s testing system that is preventing exam scores from being transferred to our database for many candidates. Until the issue is resolved, we have verified your passing exam result and manually granted your certification. The exam results will not appear until a later date. This will cause no problems with your certified status.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance. Thank you for choosing Sun products and services.

Sincerely,

Michele Castle

I requested for my score, and this is what I received from Sun

Does any one had this issue? It seems many of us in this forum received score details. Can those friends please tell whether they received a 0 score first, and then later got updated with scores? Or they received scores initially?

Hello Unnikrishnan,

The SCEA 5 assignment is pass or fail. A numerical score and a section score breakdown are not provided for the new SCEA 5 assignment.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of this issue.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance. Thank you for choosing Sun products and services.

Sincerely,

I am told that Part 2 is not evaluated until Part 3 is completed.
How long did it take Sun to evaluate Part 2 and Part 3 from the date you have completed the Part 3 essay exam?.
If something goes wrong, I need to retake Part 2 before Sun updates to EE6 which could be in 3 months or so?
Please help.

Hello Unnikrishnan:

Great!! Congrats!!!

Could you possibly pass on your experience about the assignment (what kind of tools did you use, how did you prepare the assignment, what were the questions in part 3 like: were them too lengthy, etc.) in this forum for benefit of all of us who aspire for SCEA 5.

Sincerely,

Pranab
