how the "html:select" tag activate the nevigation event?

hello everyone:
i embed the <html:select>tag and submit button in the <html:form> tag,when i select a item,i must click the submit button to nevigate other page.
now i want to delete the submit button,when i select a item,it will automatically nevigate to the destination,how?must i insert java script into my page?who can gvie a scriptlet?

You would have to use a JavaScript function to submit the form and call it from the onchange event in the <html:select> tag.
