what methods to learn

Hello,
when it comes to the methods of these Interfaces:
-ServletRequest and ServletResponse
-HttpServletRequest and HttpServletResponse

should i learn all the method, or just the ones given in HFSJ.
any help.

Be sure what methods come from which interface or superclass respectively, e.g. what comes from GenericServlet, Serlvet etc.

It never hurts to have a firm grasp on the Interfaces and implementations.
