Normally, I don't like posting "digg" like posts here but this is kind of a big deal and I'm curious to get some feedback from Spring users here on the ranch.

Thanks for the news.

If asked my opinion as a Spring open source projects user, I don't think this will have any effect. As most of the open source users don't contribute they just use.
For contributors, they can still continue contribute because Spring open source projects still are open source.
