STRUTS-DISADVANTAGES: Patterns applied?

This is probably a follow up onb the thread "Topic: STRUTS-DISADVANTAGES".
From what I know, Struts comply to quite a good set of J2EE presentation tier patterns. But, I just needed someone here to confirm the compliance and also perhaps give your opinion whether the implementation was done well.
The patterns such as: -

Struts do NOT have these: -
DecoratingFilter
DispatcherViewer

Struts have these: -
FrontController
CompositeView
ViewHelper
ServiceToWorker

Other Features NOT implemented: -
Caching of server side objects in the presentation tier.
ACL & Security mgmt.
