Good morning, everyone;

I have been working really hard on learning Java core fundamentals and onward, but I am also in the early learning stages of Flex 3. I am now seeing for the first time job posting for Java/Flex together. I know that Flex is the new choice for the front end user interface for the Java Business Logic back end. My question is this, is the true progress of Java and Flex to incorporate Flex onto the webpages with JSP as the business logic?

Thanks.

The Flex market is still very very very small and niche. I don't think it comes anywhere yet qualifying as "the new choice" for anything.

Not that you shouldn't learn it if it's something that you find useful, but it's not going to replace the traditional web stack anytime soon, if ever.

And regardless of what other technologies are employed, JSPs should be for presentation only and should never contain any type of business logic.

Hi,
I am also thinking how to create a web site in Flex and Java working together.
Flex is very nice for UI, Java is perfect for creating dinamic content.
How include nice dinamic Flex into JSP's??
Any ideas?
