Need clarification

Can somebody send me link of Exceptions, i mean which one is the superclass of which(RuntimeException is the superclass of ArithmeticException), I just get confused when i find such question regarding catching the exception is necessary or not(As we dont catch the exception if it is RuntimeException but catch it if it is subclass of Exception)

As i got confused in this programme, whether NumberFormatException is the subclass/subclasses of the RuntimeException or Exception.

You can look at the RuntimeException class here. It contains a list of sub-classes of RuntimeException. But the list is very long. The K&B book covers a list of exceptions that might be on the exam...
