Hi to everyone,

I need your opinion to know whats the suitable approach to implement gui. How should we make graphics components so that their size dont effect with the change of resolution or monitor of different size.

i am thinking to get screen size then place the components with the help of setbounds method.

Your best bet is to utilize the Swing LayoutManagers. It takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, you'll end up with a nice cross-platform GUI. However I did set a preferred and a minimum size of my GUI.

The GUI chapter of Andrew's book was of great help to me.
