Hi,

I am interested in learning OpenGL programming and Image Processing. Please suggest some good books that can help me get started with them.

Here is my background:
I am fairly comfortable with Java and C(Programming language is not a problem).
I took up a very basic course in Image Processing in school.

I picked up OpenGL from sample code and tutorials at the JOGL home page.

I think the Image Processing Handbook is pretty much the gold standard for image processing; I've never perused it, though. You can probably find earlier editions -or used books- for less then the current one.

It used to be that Foley/Van Dam was the standard text for computer graphics in general; not sure if that's still true.
