Hi all,

I want to create a JDBC connection pooling from WAS 6.0 to access physical files in QS36F library. I selected the Database type as DB2 & DB2 UDB for iSeries (Toolbox) as provider type.

Does anyone know how to configure the Connection Pooling in the Websphere Administrator Console to achieve above situation ?

Can anyone guide me to links on the Internet where I can get some course material on Websphere Connection Pooling Administration.

Please help me.

Regards,
Dhanu

It's in the datasources section under resources. Have you looked at the IBM Redbook yet?

I’m here using Webshpere 6.0 server on i5 & I followed Websphere Handbook - sg247221 but it doesn’t have the section for creating connection pooling.
Jeanne, Could you please show me the Redbook Number to further reading for creating connection pooling?

Thanks
Dhanu

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
