how to disable tomcat manager

when i start my web application from netbeans, tomcat 6.0.20 is prompting for manager username and password. what is this, how to disable it, it didnot happen in previous versions.

please.

The Tomcat manager isn't even a core part of Tomcat. It has to be installed separately. It looks like your NetBeans system is set up with a home page in the Tomcat Manager webapp.


An IDE is no substitute for an Intelligent Developer.
