By the way, what version of the book/jdk were you studying for? I'm studying now and am using an older version so wonder how different the two texts are. it is for the 1.4 specification.

The certification name was Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 5.

Hi Sandeep !
It took me two months, taking into account that the examination center was closed in August (so I couldn't take the exam before) but I had some previous experience in servlet development.
Anyway, my advice is: take all the time you need. I think it is better spending more time than loosing money.
