i'm new to SCJP, but old to java programming... I'm confused whether to take java 5 or java 6? i've studied java 5...but no much idea about java6...will it affect me if i going to take java6 scjp exam??? any body who know the answer...please

Hey,

first of all, please check out this link: Use A Meaningful Subject Line.

There is never something wrong with staying up to date so I would definitely take the SCJP 6 exam. There are quite a few changes though so you want to study those thoroughly

but where i can find the detailed difference between java 5 and java6?
all the websites i searched gave information about the content...but not in detail how to get through those content...anybody who knows???

I would suggest buying a complete study guide. Even if you think you're savvy in Java 5, there are so many little thing to watch out for and that are explicitly tested on the exam.

see how is the SCJP 1.6 exam different from the SCJP 1.5
