The HFSJ book is indeed for people who are "zero" in Servlets and JSP. If you are having trouble learning it from that book, then you can go through a couple of tutorials on the internet or read some other book, but believe me, nothing compares to that book ...

ya i no the book is awesome but the problem i am facing is in basic directory structute the way servlets are stored in directory to sub directory and all,, i never executed any servlet so, these all directory structure is baffling me...
in HFJS 3CHAPTERS are for beginers like me who are zero in jsp servlet.......but at the end of the third chapter its warning that "dude party is over, and if you dont know how to run servlet dont dare to turn the page" !!

just tell how to run the servlet from start and my problem is solved........i need apache its a server and a container tomcat...tell me every single thing in running the servlet...!!
please..... !!!

Start making application your own is best way to understand the concept of Jsp and Servlet. If you want to use sample for your reference you can get many form google search or also try to debugging your application when you are developing ...
