Is UML still included in part 1 of SCEA ?

Hi,
I am confused when reading differents posts in this forum.
I see no mention of UML (diagrams, classes, etc) in the objectives of Part 1.
But i still see some not too old books and posts about SCEA part 1 that talk about UML.

So, is UML included in part 1 of SCEA or not ?

If not, I suppose it's still a good idea to study UML since part 2 and part 3 requires some UML knowledge ?

You confused probably because those [recently published] books are for old SCEA version.

As far as I know, SCEA 5 Part 1 does not include UML.

Knowing class diagrams and their relationships in UML might be helpful to understand the Design patterns concepts clearly.
