I saw the movie District 9, I am pondering over few questions

* If the Aliens are starved and lost in the galaxy - where did they come from?

* If aliens are hungry and do posses super weapons - why the did not attack earth and humans for food.

* The aliens are not pacifist thus they don't have any ethical reason for not to attack.

* How can a human mutate into a Alien

From what I understand, the ship is a mining vessel that was on station some distance from the home planet and suffered a malfunction. It automatically set course for the nearest life-supporting planet.

1 million prawn vs 6 billion humans with primitive but still effective weapons. Not good odds.

The prawn have a social structure like bees or ants. If the "queen" is removed, the hive loses its purpose.
