I came across the following at Sun's Web site. JavaServer Faces. The people responsible for Struts have commented on it at: - Struts versus Faces I am wondering whether anyone has strong opinions on whether JavaServer Faces will displace Struts and hence whether I should think of using it in my next Java Web application.
Betty Rubble? Well, I would go with Betty... but I'd be thinking of Wilma.

#:^P

Struts is here, JSF isn't. Down the road Struts will be interoperable with JSF. I think a wait and see attitude is best as far as JSF goes. In the meantime, dI would choose to develop with what is proven and available, which is Struts.
In the long run we (and by we, I mean all of us who use Struts) will be moving from Struts to JSF. The transition should be painless however as the Struts development team is a key player in JSF. So we should be doing Struts now and watching JSF to make the transition in the future.
