Hi All,

I hopefully want to take both SCJP & SCWCD in ONE_WEEK around Nov-09. I think it's affordable, coz, I've prepared for SCJP about 6 months, but after going to test centre and trying to take that, the Prometric software didn't work properly!!!

For now, I hope I can take SCJP first and afterward (if I passed it) take SCWCD. BUT, before that, I want to make sure that's possible based-on Sun's views & rules. Also, I ant to say that I have not any profile in Sun's website before!
I should mention that I have bought 2 vouchers for this purpose.

Thanks for your ideas

Nasser

You can do both SCJP and SCWCD even in the same day.

Really ? Are you sure the database would update immediately and register saying that you have completed SCJP ?

Check with prometric / Sun on this before you make an attempt.

Devaka, I think it should be a distance (even short) between opening a profile and taking another exam.
BTW, I'll ask it

Tnx for replies

I personally know a person who did both SCJP and SCWCD in the same day - that few years ago.
Anyway it's better to contact Sun.

Devaka, you were absolutely right

that's completely affordable, here is Sun's reply :

no problem, there are NO TIME LIMITATIONS for taking two different exams. You can
(for example) take two SUN different SUN exams even on the same day.

The only time limitation concerns exam retake.

Sun has implemented a one week testing policy for all Sun Certification Exams delivered at Prometric.
This means that if you have taken an exam, failed it and need to retake the same exam again that you
will be required to wait one week before taking the exam again.

For more details about exam process, please visit:

http://www.sun.com/training/certification/faq/index.html

Regards

Petr Zemanek

So, there is not problem

Thanks Devaka & Deepak
